As the days get warmer and longer, light foods will rule the table. As such, wines that are light, chilly, and not too serious are needed as well. While some may think that wine selection is ruled by our bodies, it can also be ruled by the weather. Our taste for wine is influenced by the weather as well as how the wine tastes. Heat is the enemy of most high-end wines. Heat can and will kill them in the bottle or at the table. A bottle of wine exposed to excessive heat will frequently end up tasting like baked or stewed fruits.
